We are very proud of our work for community meals each month! Once a month, we move over to St. George’s Church. We do this because they have a professional kitchen we can use. (We don’t have that yet). We arrive at two and generally finish by 7 pm. At this event, we have teams of cooks, servers, and cleanup people. All of the people are volunteers from the UUFF. We cook, serve, and clean up for over 100 people who need a free meal. It is a joyous few hours of giving back to the greater community. We are proud that we team with the foodbank for our menus. At home, cooks provide our desserts. It happens every 4th Monday without breaks. We cook through Thanksgiving and Christmas. We welcome more help.
