CHALICE GROUPS: Everyone is welcome to join one of our small groups that meet monthly to discuss topics that reflect the current theme of the month. Each group has a facilitator and uses the Soul Matters spiritual packets. Chalice Groups are an excellent way to build community in an environment of mutual respect and understanding. There are openings for the 2nd Tue. 10:30 am group and the 3rd Thu. 7 pm group. Contact Rev. Doug McCusker if you are interested.

Are you interested in reading the Bible as literature? Many of us grew up being taught a narrow interpretation of Biblical stories, but is there more to discover? Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. starting Sep 17 in the Board Room for one hour of discussion based on the book “How to Believe in God: Whether You Believe in Religion or Not” by Clark Strand, where we will discuss these questions. Everyone is encouraged to buy the book and read ahead. We will cover one Bible story weekly (about 4-5 pages in Clark Strand’s book). But even if you don’t get the book or don’t read the chapter, you are still welcome. Contact David Brown if you are interested or if you have any questions.
