We have a work day coming up for Hesed House (It is located on 1901 Augustine Ave. Fredericksburg, VA 22401) because we are VERY CLOSE to finishing up renovations (the little motel formerly known as the Thomas Jefferson Motor Lodge) and being able to move neighbors in.

On Saturday August 12th from 8:30 am – 12 pm (or until we are done!) we are having ONE MORE volunteer work day to finish up some lingering tasks and do a cleanup.

Here’s the task list:

– removing shutters from outside each room and painting them a new color that will match the new (beautiful) doors

– scraping flaking paint off the back windows of the building and applying a fresh coat

– power-washing sidewalk and parking lot (it’s pretty messy from the last solid month of renovation work)
