As the Director of Learning and Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg, I bring a unique blend of experience in education, technology, and community building to our congregation.
My professional journey includes over a decade at Apple Inc., where I developed and delivered educational content, fostered collaborative partnerships, and mentored others in creating innovative solutions. These skills have seamlessly translated into my work here, where I strive to create dynamic and inclusive learning experiences for all ages.
My background in childhood education and religious studies is rooted in a lifelong passion for teaching and exploration. I believe that education should inspire curiosity, foster understanding, and nurture the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. From Sunday school to youth groups and adult education, I am dedicated to cultivating a vibrant, engaging, and supportive learning environment that reflects our UU principles.
When I’m not designing curricula or facilitating programs, you’ll often find me enjoying nature, creating art, or spending time with my daughter, Austin, and our lively household of pets. It’s an honor to serve this fellowship and support our community’s spiritual and educational growth.
