Mandolin Restivo joined the Unitarian Universalist movement twenty years ago. Since then, she has served in various roles in Unitarian Universalist spaces, including Reproductive Justice Committee Chair, Social Justice Committee Chair, OWL instructor, and Coming of Age Mentor.
Mandolin has also served the Unitarian Universalist Association as a member of the Journey Towards Wholeness Transformation Committee, where she worked with a team to assess the denomination’s work in becoming an anti-oppression organization.
Mandolin has a background in higher education and non-profit management. Her professional experience includes founding the Bronx Reentry Working Group as Deputy Project Director for Bronx Community Solutions and directing the Ramapo College Women’s Center, where she spearheaded the rape crisis intervention program and the Safe Zone program for LGBTIQA+ students. Mandolin has also served as a domestic violence intervention crisis counselor and is a certified birth and postpartum doula.
Mandolin is excited to co-create a transformative, fulfilling Religious Education program with the members and friends of the Fellowship.
